Description
Henry, a middle school student in Alabama must deal with a drug addicted mother, a Reservist father recalled for service in Afghanistan, the financial stress of a Reservist's pay, a redneck grandfather who is a racist, and bullying schoolmates. He finds refuge in music from these challenges. A singing competition provides Henry the vehicle for his personal triumph.
