Description
1940, World War II. The Nazis have crushed Europe, and Hitler launches a massive aerial assault with the Luftwaffe against the heavily outnumbered British RAF. The fate of Western civilization teeters in the balance. A Spitfire pilot summons the fortitude to fly despite the danger of near-certain death. A WAAF officer struggles with her role in a man's world at 11 Group HQ, where she tracks what will be known as The Battle of Britain, the first strategic victory in the Second World War, an historic conflict that led to the defeat of the Third Reich.
